For many people, the best way to install waterproof LED strip lights is to use adhesive strips. These are easy to install and adhere to most surfaces with no problems.
If you want to use a more complicated method, then you can even solder the strip lights together. This can be a bit more difficult than using adhesive strips and requires some professional knowledge to do properly.
When purchasing waterproof LED lights, be sure to check their IP ratings.
The first number of the IP rating indicates the amount of protection against dust, while the second number reflects the degree of protection against moisture. The higher the number, the better the protection.
